Organic cacao means that the cacao trees have been able to thrive in their natural environment and have not been treated with pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Our chocolate comes from companies that are dedicated to quality and work directly with producers to source cacao under equitable terms. Two of our main suppliers are Dagoba Organic Chocolate and DeVries Chocolate.

A few things about chocolate that maybe you didn’t know:

• Dark chocolate is high in antioxidants. It has more per gram than red wine, green tea, and berry fruits. Antioxidants protect against low-density lipo-protein (LDL) oxidation in cholesterol and help to alleviate stress.
• Dark chocolate is rich in B1, B2, and D vitamins, and magnesium and iron.
